• Access requires ~24 stairs: This property is not a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. Many years ago it was subdivided from the neighboring lot such that there is no choice but to ascend steep stairs to access the cottage. That said, the treetop vista from the front deck is well worth the climb for those who are ready and able. 

• Pets are not a good fit so we only host legitimate service animals. We absolutely love cats, dogs, birds, etc... however we have white linens and white carpeting everywhere except for the kitchen and bath. Over the course of a several day stay its almost inevitable that animals will get wet & dirty from dewy/wet grass or beach adventures then soil carpets/linens necessitating professional cleaning that may interfere with incoming guests. Thus, to provide the best experience possible for all guests we require that you leave pets at home and provide notice and supporting documentation prior to booking when bringing service animals.

• No Air Conditioning. Daytime highs rarely exceed a 2 pm peak of 82F this close to the water. While this is hot, the fans and screened windows provided do a great job of keeping the cottage comfortable as temps cool through the late afternoon, evening, and overnight hours
